The Berkshire Humane Society in Pittsfield, Massachusetts has been helping people and animals since 1992. The Humane Society of North Central Florida in Gainesville, Florida takes in animals from all over northern Florida and especially from rural shelters hard hit by poverty. We are so proud of our affiliation with these outstanding shelters whose mission is to save lives and give all animals the second chance they deserve.
Thanks to the Danny Boy Adoption Fund, another happy beginning for a very senior pup, Sweet Nana. Adopting out senior animals is always a challenge, but the Danny Boy fund makes it that much easier by sponsoring the adoption fees for elderly dogs like Nana. Four months ago The Humane Society of North Central Florida pulled Nana from a rural county intake shelter where they don't have the space or the money to spend on dogs like her. With the combined efforts of dedicated groups like Danny Boy & the HSNCF Nana gets another Christmas, and hopefully many more.
